Dimples

  I was looking through a few of Emerson's pictures of her lifting up her head and remembered Hayden's pictures when he was around the same age.  When I put them side by side, they have the same exact dimple right on the top of their forehead.  What a weird place to have a dimple!!

Another great thing about the old farm is that it has some old tractors that look like they have been out of commission for a while.  They are perfect for a 4 year old to climb on!!

Expressions

Yesterday we took a walk up to the old farm.  I love going up there because I think the barn as a back drop for pictures is amazing.  I took a billion pictures and I love looking through them and the expressions on their faces are just priceless.  It is nearly impossible to get a 4 year old and 3 month old to look in unison at the camera...oh well...it makes for some great candid shots.  Here are a few of my favorites...

A quick trip to Collierville

Last weekend we made a quick dash to Collierville for Miller's baptism.  This was the fist time to meet my nephew since Emerson and him were born less than a week apart.  It was great finally getting him and Emerson together.  They will be the bestest of friends like Addi and Hayden.  Here are a few pictures of our weekend.  You will notice that the pictues are sans Justin as he came down with the stomach bug and did not even make it to Miller's baptism....so sad.

I just noticed how crazy Emerson's dress looks...the shoulders are sticking straight up.  It totally reminds me of Lady GaGa at the Grammy's this year.

To my sweet Valentine...I don't know what I would do without you.  Thank you for all you do!!   Thank you for putting up with my shopping addiction.  Thank you for loving me even though I kick you every night while you snore/sleep.  Thank you for making me laugh. Thank you for making me happy. Thank you for being our protector. Most of all, thank you for this sweet family you have given me.

3 month check-up

Well...baby girl you are three months old and what a great three months it has been.  You are growning and changing daily.  You weighed 11 lb 13 oz at your check up and was 23 1/2 inches long.  You are so laid back and happy (most of the time).  This past week was a huge milestone...you slept through the night.  That is right!!  Not just one night, but five nights in a row from 10pm to 6am.  Keep it up!  Now we just need to get you out of the swing and into your crib.  You smile so big and and love to talk and blow bubbles.  You have found your tongue and love to stick it out.  You also love it when we stick our tongue out at you.  I can't wait to hear your first laugh...I know it will be any day now.  It seems like every day you do something new and different and I just love watching your personality evolve.  Can't wait to see what you have in store for us over the next few weeks.
