Breckenridge Trip

At the beginning of February, we boarded a plane and headed west to Colorado.  The first day made for an interesting and stressful beginning to this vacation.  I was so nervous about at three hour plane ride with a strong willed 15 month old, but she was great.  It was not until we got into the rental car that the craziness started.  About ten minutes into the ride, Emerson projectile vomits everywhere.  All over the brand new car seat we rented...so sorry Budget Rental Car.  We got her cleaned up, purchased some air freshener for the car, ate lunch and headed on to Breckenridge.   We found our adorable Plum Cottage and got settled in for the night for David and Hayden to get sick with a major cold.  Wow..what a first day.  Not looking to good.  The next day we choose to skip skiing and give the boys the day to recoup.  By the afternoon, the boys mustered up the will to get out and decided to go snowmobiling.  They had a blast!!  The next couple of days we dropped Hayden off for ski school and David and I skied all over the mountain.  Lucking we had Bob and Sonia to help out with Emerson. Though my fingertips nearly froze off, we had an amazing time skiing the wide, open slopes and Hayden did great in ski school.  We fell in love with Breckenridge and as always, it felt like we were not there long enough.   I really hope we will be able to make it out there  often.  It would be so great if the kids could learn to be great skier and have a love for the mountains.  It was truly and amazing trip!
