Hayden 6th Birthday

Hayden is Ghostbuster obsessed, I don't have a clue where he even saw anything Ghostbuster related.  As we all know, he always has big plans for his birthdays and for his 6th, it was Ghostbuster themed.  Now since it is not popular and most of the kids know nothing of Ghostbusters, it was hard to find themed birthday gear. That didn't stop us, we made marshmallow shooters, played games, had a special visitor and lots of fun.  It was wild and crazy with 22 kids, but it was a total blast.  My favorite part of the whole party was watching Emerson eat every marshmallow she could off the ground, and that was A LOT of marshmallows!

On his real birthday, September 9th, we took him to his favorite place, Pancho's, to celebrate.

You have a child and you never imagined you could love something so much.

And then you have another and you worry how can you possibly love another one as much as the first one.  And then this child brings you more joy and love than you ever dreamed possible.

And then, a surprise.  A great blessing from God.  Though it was not in our plans, it was in Gods plans.  Another sweet child to complete our family.  A baby to love like crazy and to bring joy into our lives.  I can not wait to meet this blessing!

As summer comes to an end, it was fast and furious.  This silly girl has become quite her own little person.  As you can see, she is busy and on the go.  She loves to eat, makes messes, get dirty, and is pretty much Hayden's little shadow.  She talks more and more everyday and is a girl who knows what she wants.  This age to me is so much fun as she is just a little sponge.  She is smart, sneaky, dramatic, sensitive and best of all...our little girl!
