6 months
Well, once again this has been a month of firsts. We have a first tooth, first time sitting up, first time crawling (that's right), first trip to the beach and last night was your first night to sleep in your crib. Seriously, it has been a busy month and I feel like you officially are no longer my little baby boy. Everything just happened so fast this month. Literally, one day your tooth popped out, the next day you sat up and the next day you started crawling. No, you are not up on all fours, but you army crawl and turn just as fast as if you were up on your hands and knees. There is no stopping you as you can pretty much go where ever you want to go. At this pace you will be walking at 9 months, but please don't. You still pretty much do not sleep. After 9 days of vacation, I decided it is time for you to sleep in your crib, in your room. Ahh, it was bittersweet taking down the pack and play, but it is time for you to move upstairs. Surprisingly, you did pretty well. A few times you fussed, I put a pillow over my head and around 5 am you were up and ready to eat. I fed you and put you back down and you slept until 7:30 am. Pretty impressed with you and your first night in your room. There is no question about it, you are the happiest, sweetest, chunkiest baby boy around. I can't get enough of your sweet smile. The 6 month check up stats-Weighing in at 17.88 lbs and 26.75 inches long. As with the all the kids, your head is in the 98%, meaning you are obviously going to be brilliant!
