As December comes to a close, it has been an extremely busy and most special one to date. There was a Christmas parade with cousins, choir program at church, Kindergarten Christmas party, two special elf visitors, another lost tooth, lots of time spent with family and friends and most important, the best Christmas present ever, but more on that later.
Hayden was so excited this year about Christmas, he is at a great age and just soaked it all in. He still loves when Charlie his elf comes to visit and runs down every morning to see what Charlie and his partner in crime, Sally, have been up too. Emerson was really entertained by Sally this year, she would run to find them as well, screeching with excitement "Charwie and Sawie" when she would find them. Though she was entertained by Sally and Charlie, she was not entertained by the jolly, old man, Santa. She is still extremely afraid of "ho ho" and will not go near him. Sadly, she refuses to sit in Santa's lap, so there will not be a sweet picture of the all the kids with Santa, though we did catch a classic picture of her screaming and crying as David tries to get her on Santa Bobs lap. Even though she was not fond of Santa, she still made the good list and Santa was really good all the kids. Hayden received Legos, Xbox and Wii games, a new bike and more stuff tha a child could ever dream of. Emerson received Micky mouse toys, a furby, vacuum cleaner and lots of fun stuff to keep her busy. David received shoes, clothes and a few other not too exciting things from me, but received a trip to Pebble Beach from his parents in May. This will be a great trip as I am going to tag along and we are going to meet John and Kathy out there. This will be an awesome experience for him and it will be a trip he will remember forever. I must have been pretty good too, as Santa spoiled me. For some reason, he always seems to spoil me, though I probably don't deserve. On top of all the awesome Tory Burch items and boots, I was surprised with the most amazing diamond ring...three diamonds to be exact, one for each of our little blessings. David always has a surprise up his sleeve, but never in a million years could I have imagined I would receive something that special. I am truly one lucky girl! We knew this December was going to be a whirlwind and we have so anticipated it for many months. I can't believe it is almost over and that it will be 2013 in two days. I sure hope 2013 will be just as amazing as 2012.

umm, do you think the 3 diamonds means "3 kids is all we are having?" Ha!
