As we do every year, we head down to the beach for the Fourth of July. We always look forward to this trip, as there is really nothing like the beach. This year we were blessed with amazing weather and the water was the prettiest I have ever seen it. We spend the first few days with Kathy and John as they hosted us at the Lamb's amazing house in Santa Rosa. Then we headed over to the condo as we the Tweel family decided they would join us this year. Hayden stayed in the ocean 90% of the time with Gabbi. The first few days there was a sandbar and we found tons of sand dollars. The kids had a blast digging for them. Emerson just wanted to snack on whatever was in the cooler. Nothing really fascinated her that much. She played in the water a little, played in the sand, but I don't think she was amazed by the beach. We look forward to this trip every year and it never disappoints. Its always hard to pack up and leave, but knowing we made special memories will keep us coming back, year after year.
