This past weekend we headed down to my parents place at Smith lake in Arly, AL. We have come down with cabin fever as we have been at home since Labor day. There is no way that we were leaving town as Emerson's due date was approaching. Now that she is here, we were all in need of a change of scenery. Since David was off for MLK day, we packed up and headed down south. We had a wonderful, relaxing weekend at the lake. My dad decided to come to the lake too, which was nice because he was became our personal chef the whole weekend. I pretty much stayed inside with Emerson since the weather was still chilly and she is still a little sick. David and Hayden did boys things...you know...building fires, throwing rocks, snowballs, and getting dirty. All in all...it was an amazing weekend of making memories with my sweet family.
